Description
For sale is a captivating vintage porcelain sleeping cat with an Oriental design motif.
The background is a deep cream color highlighted with beautiful hand painted lavender Larkspur flowers with green leaves and plum-colored berries. The large blue bow adds the finishing touches to this classic piece.
The cat is postured in a sleeping position with tail curled along the left side and eyes closed. It measures approximately 9 1/2″ long x 5″ wide x 4″ tall and weighs 1 pound 8.8 ounces.
I purchased this figurine in the late 1970’s and it has been in storage for close to 20 years. While it will look fabulous displayed on a a mantle or shelf, I had it in a small wicker basket with a blue blanket on the bottom. It always brought a smile to my face.
Perfect item for all cat lovers or to add to an Asian pottery collection.

How Shipped
: All purchases are packed with care to ensure they arrive to you safely.  Most of our items will ship via United States Postal Service (USPS).  Some items may ship via United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express or Freight depending upon which service is the most cost-effective for the specific item.
Where Shipped
:  We offer domestic shipping within the United States and territories of the U. S., unless other arrangements have been made in advance.  Please provide a physical address as we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.  If arrangements are made for shipping to other than the U.S. or its territories, those buyers will be responsible for any and all import fees, duties, taxes, etc., as applicable.
When Shipped
:  Items will usually ship within 1 business day of receiving cleared payment.  The term business day excludes weekends and holidays. For example, if you pay for an item on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, your item will generally be shipped on Monday.
Packages are usually delivered within a reasonable time by the Carrier.  Of course, sometimes there are delays due to weather, high-volume seasons like Christmas, and sometimes for no apparent reason. Delivery from our location in Florida to locations like Hawaii, Alaska and U.S. territories may take longer than within the continguous U.S.; so, please take that into consideration when making your purchase.  Please understand that once your purchase leaves our hands, we have no control over it.
Combined Shipping
:  Bidding on multiple auctions is sincerely appreciated and we will gladly combine shipping to save you money.  To qualify for combined shipping, the multiple wins must be paid for in a single payment transaction; so, do NOT make payment until you are finished shopping.  Contact us to let us know you are still shopping and again when you have completed your shopping.  Please stay within the 7 business day time limit indicated under the “Terms of Sale” Section.  Once you notify us you have finished shopping, we will send an adjusted invoice reflecting combined shipping.
Unfortunately, if you make payment and then notify us you are still shopping, we cannot combine the shipping fees on your additional purchase(s).  We want to provide the best customer service possible and strive for a 1 business day handling time.  Therefore, as soon as payment is made, we initiate our shipping process and, as such, the shipping charges have already been incurred.
Even if you are biding or purchasing multiple items listed as “Free Shipping”, please let us know so we can combine your purchases and add the appropriate insurance on the final total.

Returns and Refunds:
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase; so, we offer a liberal 30 calendar day money-back return policy. If you are not satisfied, you may return your item(s) within 30 calendar days of posted receipt for a full refund of the purchase price.  Each item must be returned in the same condition as prior to the sale, with all original materials, parts, tags, etc., included in the return shipment.  The buyer pays for the return shipping.  However, if we made a blantant error or misrepresentation of the item, we will happily absorb the return shipping costs.

We have been collectors of “stuff” for over 50 years acquired from auctions, garage/estate sales, flee markets and other forms of “picking” that we enjoyed so much for so many years.  It is time to start downsizing.
